De Edelman Trust Barometer is een jaarlijks onderzoek naar de mate van vertrouwen in deze vier instituties. In dit webinar delen Steven Heywood, General Manager bij Edelman Amsterdam en Jacqueline Lenterman, Director bij Edelman Amsterdam, de Nederlandse resultaten. Er is volop ruimte om je vragen te stellen.

Hoe is het in 2021 gesteld met het vertrouwen overheden, media, NGO’s en het bedrijfsleven? De Edelman Trust Barometer is een jaarlijks onderzoek naar de mate van vertrouwen in deze vier instituties. Het onderzoek wordt sinds 2001 in zo’n 28 landen uitgevoerd onder 34.000 respondenten. Wat is de betekenis ervan voor jou als communicatieprofessional?

Jacqueline Lenterman

With a degree in law and Masters in Macro Economics, Jacqueline started her international business career as a lawyer at Baker McKenzie in Amsterdam, before working for global leaders in banking and financial services including HSBC and JP Morgan where she became Head of Equity Research in Jakarta for the latter. Prior to joining Edelman Amsterdam in April 2019 as Director of Financial Communications where she heads up a team which advises private and public companies on corporate reputation issues and crises, corporate governance, IPOs and M&A, Jacqueline was Head of Corporate Brokerage at ING. She had also applied her direct experience of working for major institutions in European, Asian and Australian markets and formidable networking skills to senior communications roles at international agencies including Hill & Knowlton and Citigate where she was twice nominated as M&A Advisor of the Year for the M&A Awards in The Netherlands.

Steven Heywood

Steve helps brands navigate moments of truth that define their reputation.  ​ His communications background is in complex issues and crisis management and development of long-term strategic programs to help brands build purpose and relevance in society. ​ He believes that people and performance are intrinsically linked and is passionate about driving innovation and building teams that collaborate and are relentless in their drive to continually improve – transforming both the employee and client experience.  ​ This passion for transformation comes to life in his role as General Manager of Edelman’s Amsterdam office, where he is responsible for a team of 85 communications marketing specialists, ranging from data scientists through to creative directors and account managers.  In his five years in the management team at Edelman, and one year as General Manager, the agency has delivered across all dimensions, from winning awards for creative campaigns, through to securing new marquee clients and delivering sustainable growth.  This was recently recognised when the agency was awarded Benelux Consultancy of the Year.  ​ Reflecting his deep sector specialism in energy and tech, Steve leads a number of key client relationships across EMEA including PayPal and Samsung Heavy Industries and is client leader for flagship Dutch clients including Shell. ​ Prior to Edelman, Steve was UK Head of Corporate Communications at eBay.  His career also includes a stint at another global communications agency, and as a press officer at McDonald’s, a role he took on after beginning his career as a management trainee in the Ministry of Defence.​ Steve is a graduate of Hyper Island, graduating their Masters in Digital Transformation Program and holds a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification.  He is a British national and lives in Amsterdam.
